​Ingredients:

  • Slim Buns or Whole-wheat English muffin

  • 4-ounces ground beef

  • Slice of green pepper

  • Slice of onion

  • Other grilled veggies

  • Guacamole (optional)

  • 1 tablespoon/packet of ketchup (21 Calories)

  • 1 tablespoon/packet of mustard (0 Calories)

  • 1 tablespoon BBQ Sauce – optional (12 Calories)

 

 Directions:

  1. A Slim bun is when you shave a bun down so the lower and upper portions are half their original depth/size or when using a whole-wheat English muffin

  2. Cook your ground beef with seasoning, if desired, only using 4-ounce patties. They will cook down to make a 3-ounce burger. Traditional burgers are around 6-ounces.

  3. Sautee your pepper, onion or vegetables, and top off your burger.

  4. Note: by the time you add all the peppers, onions etc. each bite of your slim burger is a mouth full of delicious food.
